Closing ceremony at the end of the semester at a school doing a lunch project

I was invited to participate in the end of semester closing ceremony at the school where I am doing a lunch project 😌

I didn’t go to the middle school graduation ceremony because I didn’t like the teacher,
I didn’t go to the high school graduation ceremony because it was too much trouble,
and I couldn’t go to my college graduation ceremony because I was in Thailand,
I had never attended a graduation ceremony in my life, so this was my first one 🏫

Next to me, the principal, who is like a mother to me, was crying all the time, and I was almost crying myself.

Even though I could not understand a single word they were saying in Myanmar, I could feel that they loved this school and its teachers very much.

I was glad that I was able to give a speech to all the students and their parents and tell them about the purpose of the lunch project, my appreciation for the daily operation of the school, and what I would like to do next.

Although the lunch project is still only at this school and only on a small scale, we have been able to make several effects over the past six months.
As for this project, I would like to expand it in this school and to other schools with different conditions.

I also have many other projects that I would like to try, so I will try my best to promote them in Japan again for a while ☕

This was a special and emotional day for me, a valuable experience that I will never forget 🥺🙏
