From December 9 to December 11, 2023, We did on a tour of Chiang Mai coffee farm.
I was very happy to be able to do it because it was one of the things that I had wanted to do for a long time, and I had talked about it with the farmers when I created Saphan coffee!
This time, we had a total of 10 participants, including regular coffee drinkers, business partners, and people who usually follow our activities on SNS. Since it was the coffee harvest season, the main purpose of the event was to provide a complete experience from coffee harvesting to roasting.
We had a really good time eating fruits and vegetables from the village and talking a lot under the starry sky around the bonfire at night!
It was sincerely enjoyable to spend a rich time together in a village deep in the mountains, which is about 3 hours away from Chiang Mai city.
It was also a very emotional time for me to know that coffee in the mountains of Chiang Mai is roasted in Tak and delivered to Japan.
I was also able to make a chance the people who actually drink and handle the coffee to see farmers for the first time, and I was able to give them a much more real voice about the coffee they are producing than I am usually able to do with words, and I think everyone who participated was able to experience the production process and the farmers. I believe that the participants were able to experience the production process and the farmers who are producing the coffee.
