Current status of Covid-19-stricken immigrant schools

Immigrant schools attended by children from Myanmar have not been able to open for a long time since the Covid-19 spread.

The homes where immigrant children live do not have an online environment and online lessons are not possible, so teachers go to the children’s homes for lessons all the time.

The educational curriculum has been delayed for the last 2.3 years due to the small number of teachers relative to the number of children.

During the conflict in Myanmar, some of the immigrant schools were used as kitchens to deliver food to Myanmar, where they cooked every day to deliver food to Myanmar.

I really wish the situation soon subside and the day will come when children will be able to go to school as they did before Covid-19.
